23 - 26 Rattlesnake Hills Roundup - Memorial Day Weekend  It’s always warmer and sunny in Eastern Washington. Country music, open pit barbeque, wine and a lot of outdoor fun. Bring your folding chair and relax on the lawn stay the weekend. Live music on Saturday and open pit barbeque on Saturday and Sunday. Maybe even throw a few Horseshoes. Red, White, and Blues Fest – July 4,5 & 6
The third annual Red, White and Blues Fest weekend kicks off with a new evening event featuring The Hudson Rocket Band, wine pairing, and fireworks. This promises to be one weekend you won’t want to miss with amazing Blues Music! Red Wine, White Wine and Live Blues Music - what more could you want? Limited tickets available.

4 Main Event Hudson Rocket Band Wine Trail will host the main event of this patriotic weekend. Taste wine, listen to music and view the fireworks from the top of the hill at Silver Lake Winery where, according to Silver Lake’s tasting room manager, Taynea, “You can see the fireworks of all four cities in the valley!” Main Event Tickets are $30 and include Wine Pairing - a class with three different winemakers' wine and cuisine, a glass of Wine, Live Blues Music featuring the blazing sounds of the Hudson Rocket Band - a Northwest favorite, and viewing Fireworks over the four cities. Wine from all the wineries of the Rattlesnake Hills Wine Trail and dinner items by Classic Events will be available. Tickets are limited and can be purchased at all the wineries of the Rattlesnake Hills Wine Trail beginning April 25, 2008 or here at www.LocalWineEvents.com. 7-11 PM

23 Snake in the Glass The Rattlesnake Hills Wine Trail’s Annual Snake in the Glass Party for everyone that has completed the Passport. Wine, dine, and dance to great music with all the winemakers of the Rattlesnake Hills Wine Trail! Exciting door prizes, excellent food catered by Birchfield Manor, wine from all the Rattlesnake Hills Wine Trail, and the unbeatable view from Hyatt Vineyards will make this 4th annual event beyond belief. Invitation only, available to Passport completers who have finished their Passport within the last year. If you finished yours a few years ago, it’s time to do another one, as those who have finished in the last year are the first to receive the invitations. Tickets are limited and sold out weeks ahead of the event last year. Invitations will be e-mailed and you will need a code to make reservations. Watch for that code in this e-newsletter next month! Make sure you finish your Passport by the end of July for an invitation! Only $40 to attend

30 Annual Harvest Party – Return to Vinoritaville – Silver Lake Winery at Roza Hills Celebrate The 2008 Grape Harvest. Start planning your trip to the Yakima Valley for Silver Lake Winery’s 2008 Harvest Party from Noon to 6pm Saturday, August 30th. This event features a pit roasted Kailua Pig (free samples), ice cold vinoritas and a chance to win prizes in our grape stomping contests and lots of fun. 11 A Wine Country Christmas Join Bonair, Hyatt, Paradisos del Sol , Severino, and Silver Lake in an old-fashioned Wine Country Christmas complete with caroling and goodies. You might even find a Figgie pudding. It's a great chance to do some holiday shopping as well as stock up on wine. 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM.

14 & 15 Red Wine and Chocolate Celebrate Valentines Day in the Rattlesnake Hills for the perfect date. What could be better than Red Wine and chocolate for you sweetheart?

14 & 15 Chasing Out the Snakes and Appellation Days Come watch St. Paddy chase the snakes out of the Rattlesnake Hills leaving only fine wine behind for the tourists. We will also be celebrating the 3rd anniversary of the Rattlesnake Hills AVA.
