Yakima Valley Wineries in the Proposed AVA:

Fourteen wineries own vineyards in the Rattlesnake Hills.  In fact, of the 1215 acres of wine grapes in the region, 69% is winery owned.  These wineries know the quality that can be achieved by sourcing their grapes here.

Andrew Will Winery owns 25 acres of premium vinifera wine grapes.

Apex Cellars owns Outlook Vineyard which has 98 acres planted.

Bonair Winery owns 30 acres of wine grapes which they use exclusively for their own production of premium Cabernet Sauvignon, Chardonnay, Merlot, Cabernet Franc, Malbec, Riesling, Touriga and Gamay Beaujolais.  The Morrison Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon and the Ch. Puryear Vineyard Chardonnay have received Gold Medals in regional, national, and international competitions.

Christopher Cellars owns ten acres of vinifera which they use in their own production.

Horizon's Edge Winery grows 18 acres of wine grapes.

Hyatt Vineyards Winery farms 147 acres of grapes in the Rattlesnake Hills.  They sell grapes and bulk wines to other wineries.

Portteus Vineyards Winery grows 56 acres of premium vinifera grapes.  Production beyond the needs of the winery is custom grown to specifications for other wineries.

Sheridan Winery owns 65 acres of wine grapes.

Silver Lake at Rosa Hills has a total of 330 acres in premium wine grapes.

Steppe Cellars Has ten acres of Riesling planted in 1981.

Tefft Cellars Winery farms ten acres for use by the winery.

Two Mountain Winery has 24 acres in production.

Windy Point Winery presently has 14 acres of wine grapes for use by the winery.

The following wineries are located in the Rattlesnake Hills, but do not grow grapes.  Some of their grapes are sourced from the Rattlesnake Hills.

Tanjuli  Winemaker Tom Campbell has over 25 years experience producing fine Bordeaux-style reds. His extensive knowledge combined with carefully selected grapes from mature vineyards produce wines of unbelievable depth and complexity.  The wines are sold to only a few select shops, restaurants.
